We are going to upgrade the current GetForum.org forumsystem to phpBB3 version 3.0.8, wednesday the 6:th of April. This will involve some changes, including the possibility to purchase some extra services:

1. Your own domain to be used with your forum
2. Possibility to change freely in forum styles
3. Remove ads
4. Remove links at the forum feet.
5. Make internal backups/restores (not external backups for downloading)

The old forums from the UnityFree.com/GetWebs.org hosting system will be integrated to the GetForum.org forumsystem, Monday the 11:th of April!
This upgrade is something many have been waiting for, and we have been having a lot of delays in doing this, and now finally it will be done! Thank you all for your patience!

This will involve an even greater change then for the current getforum.org forums:

1. All possibilities like above described
2. The account will keept the old address, but /board, /forum or /foro will disappear
3. The styles are not the same at all, therefore all forums will be resetted to the default prosilver template, and after upgrade you will be able to choose a new style. And all changes that you have made to the templates will be lost, to try to save the changes to wordpad before the upgrade.
4. The possibility to edit styles will be an extra feature that will cost 19Eur or $25
5. The Blog and Gallery MOD will disappear
6. All uploaded files to images will be lost, thats all images uploaded in the /acp , you will need to use an external images host, used with the forums. You will be able to upload a logo without problems. Files like avatars, smilies, attachments will be preserved and you will be able to upload your own smilies in the forum ACP.
7. You have to make sure that your domain has ns1.getforum.org and ns2.getforum.org as nameservers, since all other name servers will not be possible to use anymore.
