The purpose of this support forum is to provide support for the GetForum.org network. Being a participant in the GetForum.org support forum is a privilege offered to those who follow the rules stated below. By registering an account and/or using our services you have agreed to be bound by the terms of this agreement. Please read this document with care as it is legally binding. If you do not agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement, do not use the services we provide.


[1.]Do not take over another one's thread. You may be ignored if you do so since we are trying to focus on the original creator of the thread. Always start your own topic if you need support.

[2.]Advertising of any kind not contained within our Advertising board is strictly forbidden. This includes but is not limited to the following: advertising of a website, product, or service not hosted by GetForum.org. Advertising of our competitor's services (forum host, web host, blog host, image host, etc), and promotion communities not hosted by GetForum.org or affiliated companies. Also, advertising information about the usage of programs/utilities that prevent seeing the ads on our forums (non-english only) is strictly forbidden as well.

[3.]Members are forbidden to advertise affiliate links that help them to earn cash, credits, or points on another forum or website.

[4.]Before posting a support topic, a search should be made to see if your question(s) have already been answered.

[5.]When you ask a question, try to be as clear and accurate about what you are trying to ask. Don't hesitate to describe your problem with many details, and post complete error messages if you received any. Also, try to explain how we can re-create the problem. The more information you give us, the better we can help you.

[6.]Always add your forum URL when you post a support topic. In most cases, it is harder and we will not be able to help you if we cannot see your forum.

[7.]Inappropriate language is not permitted on the support forum. Abbreviations, misspellings, and artifices also violate this rule.

[8.]Signatures should not exceed 7 lines in height. This included both images and text. Avatars must be in static form no flash allowed.

[9.]You are expected to respect staff and other members of our community. We ask that you refrain from making inflammatory posts. Abuse towards our Support Team is forbidden. They all work volontarily on the support forum and they are human beings.

[10.]The goal of this support forum is to offer support for the GetForum.org network. While we value constructive feedback, repeatative degrading comments and flaming of the services provided by GetForum.org is forbidden.

[11.]Access to the forum's Private Message System is a privilege offered to members who don't misuse it. Any kind of advertising mentioned above in rule #1 through private messages is forbidden. If abuse of the Private Message System is expected, your PMs may be monitored and/or recorded.

[12.]Support staff typically work starting from the oldest topics and make their way to the newest ones, so we ask that you avoid bumping your topics in hopes of getting faster support. If you continue to bump your topics we will make you wait longer. Also, double posting is not allowed. If you forgot to mention something in your post or you have more to add, use the forum's edit feature rather than making a double post.

[13.]The shoutbox is for general conversations only!! there is NO support given in the shoutbox.

[14.]The goal of the support board is to allow members to receive support and not for promotion of a forum. If another forum has the solution to a question asked on these support forums, copy the solution, then paste and post it here. Posts sending users to another forum to receive support when they came here for it is forbidden.

Failure to follow these rules may lead to a warning and or loss of forum privileges. The Support Team has the right to remove any post from the forum without notice or explanation. GetForum.org reserves the right to modify these terms, and conditions at any time without notice, and such modifications shall take effect immediately after posting. It is therefore your responsiblity to regularly review these rules and additional terms or notices posted on the GetForum.org website. GetForum.org is the sole deciding factor in what is allowed and what is not allowed. GetForum.org's failure to insist upon or enforce any provision of these rules does not construe a waiver of any provision or right.
