This is the Official Question Topic About The New Changes 3/01/2010.

Members you can find all of the Admin Notes in the (( Announcements & Notices )) but if you have other questions pertaining to the web changes and the (( deactivating accounts )) and or the cost of getting your forum or account active you can ask them here.

Need to know information before you post for HELP.

Post Urgent help re deactivation E-Mails...
Hello there - are these emails about the account deactivation spam or real???
The data must definitly be wrong – because we're logging in at least once or twice a months. Furthermore we've paid for ad removal for months - so why would you deactivate our forum? That starts becomming strange to me.

Please clarify what this all is about and what we need to do now to avoid all that.

No, they are not wrong. We will not deactivate forums, we will deactivate whole accounts.

Is this in the Administration Control Panel?
Where can this OK status be checked - as I couldn't find it there?
Login as Admin -> Click on the Administration Control Panel on the bottom of the screen -> Login again as admin -> click on "Proceed to the ACP".
But there is NO status displayed there... are there different ACPs that need to be logged in and watched???

No, that's the control panel of the forum, the forum is just one of many applications you can have activated in your account.

Yes, your account is consired as inactive since you have'nt logged into your main control panel at: http://panaigialeiosfans.phpbb24.com/acp/ since 25 09 2009

Ok admin. I found where i should pay the cost via pay pal. Tell me some things. This cost is for the whole year? until March 2011 for example? And do i have to get in the acp panel once in 2 months from now on, to keep the forum always online?

No, it's just a one time fee for reopening an inactive account. If your accounts stays active you don't have to pay anything in the future.

aha, think I have the same situation as J.B.: "- The account founder/owner has not logged into the account's main control panel (http://yourwebaccounturl/acp/) for at least 2 months ago."

didn't know that I had to go there from time to time. a detail which I obviously missed to learn about.
a warning would have been cool, I think. but I see, your policy is that WE should come here and look for news, not you send news to us ...

Plinh we have sent out three Emails about inactive accounts if your not the admin of the forum that you are talking about then why are you posting here and not the admin of your forum?? where is the admin of that forum??

but I am the admin of it :) ...

originally a user named MontBlanc set up this forum for our guild of who I am the boss (^^), that must have been around 3 years ago. I got moderator rights from him then. after some time, there was this upgrade to version 3, but MontBlanc was no longer active, which had left us with no one to come to control panel and check things, this was when I had posts with u and got nice support, in the process beeing installed as admin myself. from then on I managed stuff in control panel. ... but I never had notice of any mails anywhere. maybe they are sent to user MontBlanc, still? or I overlooked them? (havn't been to control panel since 4 or 5 months I think; cause I didn't know this would have been needed) :=:

Plinh let me ask you have you updated your information in the outer ACP?? if you have not then the emails would have been sent to him and not you. the Admin sent out a news letter and a few mass Emails about all members needing to update there information in the outer ACP but needless to say now because you did not log into the outer ACP for 4 or 5 months you will have to pay to get your forum back the cost is $10.00 .
